Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Senior QA Engineer with a strong background in manual and automation testing to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing robust test strategies, ensuring high-quality software delivery across web, mobile, and API platforms.
You'll play a key role in building Python-based automation frameworks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior testers to drive continuous quality improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for web, mobile, and API applications
- Build and maintain automation frameworks using Python, Selenium, and Pytest
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to define testing scope and coverage
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Manage defects throughout the lifecycle using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla
- Ensure seamless test integration into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and related tools
- Document and maintain high-quality QA artifacts including test cases, test reports, and user stories
- Act as a quality advocate and mentor within the QA team, sharing best practices and technical expertise
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with expertise in both manual and automation testing
- Strong hands-on experience in Python for automation testing
- Proficient in tools such as Selenium, Pytest, Jenkins, Git, and test management platforms
- Excellent knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and defect lifecycle management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team mindset
