Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced eTrading QA Engineer to support and enhance Fixed Income Rates electronic trading platforms. The role sits close to the front office and requires strong domain knowledge across rates products, execution workflows (D2D and D2C), and electronic trading platforms.

You will be responsible for validating trading functionality, execution workflows, pricing behavior, and post-trade outcomes across dealer-to-dealer and dealer-to-client channels, working closely with trading, technology, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform functional and regression testing of Fixed Income Rates eTrading systems

- Validate Dealer-to-Dealer (D2D) and Dealer-to-Client (D2C) execution workflows

- Test integration with external platforms such as Tradeweb and Bloomberg

- Verify pricing, execution quality, and trade lifecycle behavior across trade types

- Analyze issues using logs, databases, and test evidence from Linux-based environments

- Work closely with traders, product owners, and developers to ensure business requirements are met

- Design and execute test cases, document results, and support release cycles

- Assist with production verification and incident/root-cause analysis

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

- Fixed Income eTrading

- Strong experience in Fixed Income Rates eTrading QA

- Hands-on experience with:

- D2D executions

- D2C executions

- Familiarity with D2C eTrading platforms:

- Tradeweb

- Bloomberg

Product Knowledge:

- Solid understanding of Fixed Income products:

- Notes

- Bonds

- Bills

- Interest Rate Swaps

Trade Types

- Experience testing:

- Buy and sell trades

- Synthetic trades

- Compression trades

Trading Concepts

- Good understanding of:

- DV01

- Fill levels

Technical Skills:

- Comfortable navigating Linux/Unix systems

- Strong Excel skills for analysis and reconciliation

- Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and investigation

Nice to Have:

- Experience working with ION platforms

- Experience automating test case execution

- Exposure to test automation frameworks and regression suites

- Prior experience working closely with front-office trading desks
