QA Engineer

We offer products across 35 categories, 40,000+SKUs from 300+ brands across Building Material, Chemicals & Metals. We launched private labels in 3 categories : Tiles, Ply and Bath ware. With a robust network of suppliers and transporters, we have delivered to 4,000+ pin codes across 375 cities. Our customer base now spans top-tier EPC companies, civil contractors, real estate developers, OEMs, fabricators, manufacturing companies, dealers, and retailers. We connect Sellers, Buyers, Logistics service providers, Lending partners, Payment solution providers on a unified digital backbone thereby creating end to end visibility and providing a B2C like fulfilment experience for the B2B ecosystem.

The evolution of B2B ecommerce is expected to mirror the B2C ecommerce journey, where technology transformed discovery, pricing, fulfilment, and customer experience at scale. Digital penetration today in B2B ecommerce is still under 2%, indicating massive headroom for scalable digital-first platforms. Key Responsibilities

Product Understanding & Quality Planning

• Know the domain/business: Understand business workflows, customer journeys, business objectives, product requirements and key operational processes.
• Participate in requirement reviews, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and design discussions.
• Identify quality risks, dependencies, and test coverage requirements during the early stages of development. Apply risk-based testing principles to maximize quality and coverage.
• Design test strategies, test scenarios, test cases, and test data for assigned features and releases.

Quality Validation & Release Support

• Own quality validation for assigned modules and releases.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate business rules, workflows, user journeys, and data integrity.
• Perform API, UI testing and defect management with clear impact analysis.
• Participate in defect analysis, perform root cause analysis of escaped defects and contribute to preventive actions.
• Ensure quality during QA, UAT support, release rollout, and post-release validation.

Automation & Engineering Excellence

• Adopt an engineering-first mindset towards quality and test automation.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated UI and API test cases.
• Identify regression scenarios suitable for automation.
• Promote shift-left quality practices, early defect prevention and continuous process improvement.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering and DevOps teams to continuously improve quality practices.

• Contribute to improving QA processes, test assets and engineering practices.

Qualifications & Skills

Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Engineering.
• Strong manual testing experience for business applications.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, TestNG and Rest Assured.
• Good understanding of API, integration, end-to-end testing and defect management.
• Basic SQL and database validation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Experience in B2B Commerce, Retail, Marketplace, Supply Chain or Fintech domains.
• Exposure to Microservices and Cloud-based applications.
