QA Engineer

Description

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in software testing, ensuring high-quality software products through meticulous testing and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain test cases for software applications.
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback.
• Participate in peer reviews of test cases and test plans.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure software stability after changes.
• Prepare and deliver reports on test results and quality metrics.

Skills and Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Proficiency in testing methodologies and techniques (manual and automated).
• Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, QTP, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python for test automation.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team.
