QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
• Identify, record, and track bugs and issues using bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure quality is maintained throughout the software development life cycle.
• Perform regression testing and ensure that fixes are verified and validated.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on the testing process.
• Analyze test results and provide reports to stakeholders on quality metrics.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and principles.
• Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium or JUnit.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL for validating data integrity.
