About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Automation Engineer (SDET) with a strong foundation
in manual testing and a growing focus on test automation. The ideal candidate is
passionate about quality, automation, and leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve testing
efficiency and product reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing including sanity, regression, and acceptance testing
- Analyze requirements and design effective test cases and test scenarios
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts
- Execute tests and report defects with clear reproduction steps
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams in an Agile
environment
- Use AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve automation
productivity
- Participate in sprint ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality
improvements
Required Skills & Qualifications
Testing & QA
- 14 years of experience in Testing
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and Software Testing Life Cycle
(STLC)
- Hands-on experience in Sanity Testing , Regression Testing ,Acceptance Testing
Agile & Tools
- Good knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Experience using test management and defect tracking tools, such as : JIRA
TestLink / Zephyr (or similar)
Automation & AI Tools
- Experience or strong exposure to test automation
- Hands-on or working knowledge of AI-powered coding/testing tools, such as:
GitHub Copilot ,Cursor
Programming & Scripting
- Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language: Python, TypeScript,
or JavaScript
- Ability to write reusable, maintainable, and well-structured automation code
Cloud Awareness
- Basic working knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS or Azure
- Awareness of cloud-based environments and deployments
Good to Have
- Experience with automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, PyTest,
etc.), Playwright will be preferred.
- API testing experience
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
- Exposure to containerized or cloud test execution environments
