Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated
Python Automation Tester with experience in
desktop application testing and automation tools. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in
Python scripting, automation frameworks, and a good understanding of software testing fundamentals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automation test scripts using Python.
- Perform desktop application testing and automation using relevant tools.
- Design and maintain automation frameworks for functional and regression testing.
- Execute test cases, identify defects, and track issues to closure.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.
- Perform integration and end-to-end testing for application workflows.
- Maintain test documentation and automation reports.
Required Skills
- 1–4 years of experience in automation testing.
- Strong knowledge of Python scripting.
- Experience with desktop application testing tools (e.g., PyAutoGUI, WinAppDriver, AutoIt, Sikuli, etc.).
- Understanding of automation frameworks and test design principles.
- Basic knowledge of API testing.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies.
Good to Have
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Exposure to test frameworks like Pytest or Robot Framework.
- Basic knowledge of database testing (SQL).
- Exposure to Windows-based application automation.
