Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to lead the testing and quality assurance efforts for our products. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and ensuring overall quality of the product. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive testing strategy that encompasses all aspects of the product, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Work closely with the development team to integrate QA processes into the software development lifecycle, ensuring that quality is considered at all stages.
- Oversee the selection and implementation of testing tools and technologies.
- Analyze test results, identify and report defects, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Continuously assess and improve testing processes and practices to enhance product quality and team efficiency.
- Stay up to date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and industry's best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 2-6 years of experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of any automation/performance or security testing tool is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and their impact on the QA process.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Work closely with the development team to integrate QA processes into the software development life cycle, ensuring that quality is considered at all stages.
