About the Role
We are looking for a Backend-focused Automation Engineer with strong experience in automation frameworks, API testing, and AI/LLM-driven systems. This role requires someone who understands system behavior deeply, can design robust automated solutions, and is comfortable working in complex backend environments.
What You'll Do
- Own quality for AI / LLM-powered features across releases
- Test LLM outputs for accuracy, relevance, consistency, and edge cases
- Validate prompt-based workflows and basic multi-step flows
- Test APIs, backend services, and end-to-end user journeys
- Perform regression, exploratory, and release testing
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product to improve reliability
- Write clear, actionable bug reports with examples and expected behavior
What We're Looking For
- 36 years of QA experience in web or backend systems
- Exposure to AI/LLM-based products (hands-on or adjacent experience)
- Experience with API testing (Postman, REST clients)
- Understanding of prompt behavior and non-deterministic outputs
- Strong grasp of testing fundamentals and quality mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)
- Light exposure to agentic or multi-step workflows
- Basic automation experience (Java, Python, Playwright, Cypress, PyTest, etc.)
- Familiarity with data-heavy or analytics products
