QA Engineer

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software applications through comprehensive testing strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test plans and test cases for various software applications.
• Execute manual and automated tests to ensure software quality and performance.
• Identify, record, and track bugs and issues in the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on the software design.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities work as expected after updates or changes.
• Participate in code reviews and provide input on software quality and testing best practices.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing roles.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test automation purposes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
