QA Engineer

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team in India. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans and test cases to ensure software quality.
• Identify, record, and track defects and issues in the software.
• Perform regression testing to confirm fixes and ensure new features do not break existing functionality.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testing processes.
• Participate in code reviews and provide input on testability and quality improvements.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in manual testing techniques and methodologies.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
