Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a QA Automation Trainer at GrowAI Edtech. The QA Automation Trainer will design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs focused on software quality assurance, test automation frameworks, and industry best practices. Daily responsibilities include preparing curriculum and learning materials, conducting live online training sessions, recording lectures or demos, and creating hands-on assignments and projects. The trainer will mentor learners, review their work, provide detailed feedback, and support them through technical challenges related to QA automation tools, scripting, and testing methodologies. The role also involves updating course content to reflect new tools and trends, collaborating with the academic and product teams, and helping evaluate learner performance and readiness for real-world QA roles.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in software testing concepts, including test planning, test case design, regression testing, and defect management.
- Hands-on experience with QA automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, or similar).
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language commonly used in test automation (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests into build and deployment workflows (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Ability to design structured curricula, training materials, and practical exercises suitable for beginner to intermediate learners.
- Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear and accessible way.
- Experience mentoring, teaching, or leading technical workshops, bootcamps, or internal training programs is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with agile development practices and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence, Slack) is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple cohorts or classes, and meet training schedules and deliverables.
