Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced
QA Tester Lead to join our team in
Bengaluru. This role involves leading QA efforts across embedded and software systems, driving automation initiatives, and ensuring high-quality deliverables in a dynamic Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of testers; oversee performance and skill development
- Define and implement comprehensive test strategies for embedded systems and payment platforms
- Plan, prioritize, and manage QA tasks in coordination with cross-functional teams
- Execute manual and automated testing: functional, regression, integration, and performance
- Drive the implementation of test automation frameworks and practices
- Ensure compliance, consistency, and repeatability in testing processes
- Collaborate closely with developers, BAs, and product managers to meet quality goals
- Clearly communicate testing status, risks, and results to stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of QA/testing experience with 23 years in a leadership role
- Strong experience in both manual and automation testing
- Expertise in embedded systems and hardware/software integration testing
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, especially SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
- Proficiency with JIRA, test management tools, and scripting languages
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- ISTQB certification
- Experience with test rigs and real-time embedded systems
