Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand project architecture and define QE strategy aligning with RBC standards
- Lead test automation initiatives using modern frameworks (e.g., Selenium, RestAssured, Cypress, Provar etc)
- Design scalable and maintainable automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing
- Collaborate with development teams to enable CI/CD testing practices and shift-left testing
- Define and implement performance, security, and integration testing strategies
- Evaluate opportunities to integrate Gen AI into QE processes - test case generation, self-healing tests, intelligent defect triaging, etc.
- Contribute to RFP and proposal efforts from a QE standpoint
- Mentor junior testers and ensure consistent QE best practices
Skills :
- Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks and test architecture
- Familiarity with Gen AI trends in QE space (bonus if he is hands on), knowledge of tools and framework like playwright.
- Working knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Docker
- Domain experience in Wealth/Banking is preferred
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
