QA Automation - Senior Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UI and API automation, a good understanding of ETL processes, expertise in database/SQL for backend validations, and experience with Kafka testing. Additionally, the candidate should have experience leveraging Generative AI (GenAI) tools to enhance testing efficiency and quality. This role requires a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills who can work independently and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks forUI and API testing.
• Perform end-to-end testing, includingfunctional, regression, and integration testing, to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• ValidateETL processesand ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems.
• Conduct backend validations using advancedSQL queriesto ensure data consistency and accuracy.
• PerformKafka testingto validate message queues, topics, and data streaming processes.
• LeverageGenerative AI (GenAI)tools to optimize test case generation, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance test coverage.

Required Skills:

• Experience:7-10 years of experience in QA automation, with a focus onUI ,API & Back-end testing.
• Automation Expertise:Proven expertise in developing and maintaining automation frameworks forUI and API testing.Preferred:Experience with tools likePlaywright.
• ETL Understanding:Strong knowledge ofETL processesand the ability to validate data transformations and migrations.
• Database/SQL Skills:Proficiency in writing complexSQL queriesfor backend validations and data analysis (Oracle/MySQLpreferred).
• Kafka Testing:Hands-on experience withKafkafor testing message queues, topics, and data streaming.
• GenAI Tools:Familiarity withGenerative AI (GenAI)tools for test case generation, debugging, and automation optimization.
• Experience withCI/CD pipelinesand tools like Jenkins & GitHub Actions.

Good to Have:

• Domain Knowledge:Basic understanding of banking and wealth management domains.
