Job Description

  • design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools such asPython, Selenium, Robot Framework, or Playwright. 4.4
  • Participate in all phases of the testing lifecycle, including planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
  • Utilize test management tools such as JIRA and Confluence to document test cases, track defects, and collaborate with team members.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to ensure the quality of software applications.
  • Conduct API testing (preferred) and integrate it into the automation suite.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, documentation teams, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Think from the user s perspective to identify potential usability issues and ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Apply strong analytical skills to identify risk areas, estimate testing scope, and ask critical questions to improve product quality.
  • Continuously assess and improve testing processes and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Stay updated with the latest testing tools, trends, and best practices.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience (4+ years preferred) as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, defect management, and types of testing.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and scripting in Python.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Nice to Have:
  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
  • Knowledge of performance or security testing is a plus.
