Key Responsibilities
Test strategy and LeadershipDefine, design, and implement a comprehensive QA automation strategy for enterprise applications, primarily focusing on SAP and DMSLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of QA automation engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvementEvaluate, select, and implement the most appropriate automation tools, frameworks, and testing methodologies, including Selenium and Playwright, to meet organizational needsAct as the primary point of contact for all QA automation deliverables, reporting metrics, defect leakage, and automation ROI to senior managementSAP Testing (Interfaces and Modules)Design and execute automated test scripts for various SAP modules critical to the manufacturing domain (e.g., SAP MM, SD, PP, FICO, and EWM)Develop end-to-end automation for SAP interfaces, including APIs, IDOCs, EDI, and third-party system integrations, ensuring seamless functionalityEnsure rigorous testing of SAP updates, enhancement packages, and migrations (e.g., SAP ECC to S/4HANA)Dealer Management System (DMS) TestingCreate automated test suites for the company's Dealer Management System, covering critical modules such as Vehicle Sales, Spare Parts Inventory, Service & Warranty Management, and Dealer FinanceTest the integration points between the DMS, the central SAP ERP, and customer-facing web/mobile applicationsEnsure the DMS operates flawlessly under high load, simulating peak dealership hours and high transaction volumesFramework Development and CI/CDBuild and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable test automation frameworks (Data-driven, Keyword-driven, or Hybrid) utilizing tools like CircleCI and JenkinsIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and agile deliveryEstablish automated API, UI, and performance testing protocols to ensure comprehensive coverageIdeal Candidate
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering in Computer Science, IT, or BCA/MCA from a reputed universityExperience: Minimum 12 years of proven experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 5+ years in a QA Leadership or Test Architecture roleDomain Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and dealership operations, preferably within the automotive or two-wheeler industrySAP Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience in automating SAP applications using enterprise tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft Certify, Micro Focus UFT, or similarDMS/ERP Experience: Proven track record of testing large-scale CRM, ERP, or Dealer Management SystemsAutomation Skills: Proficiency in modern automation tools (Selenium, Playwright) and programming languages (Java, Python, C#, or similar)API Testing: Deep experience with API testing and automation (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI)Process: Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, defect tracking systems (Jira, ALM), and version control (Git)Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformations and testing methodologies.Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)Certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Level (Test Manager or Test Automation Engineer) or SAP/Tosca specific certifications
