QA Automation - Lead

Job Description

We are looking for a LeadQuality Engineer (QE)with a good understanding of software testing fundamentals and automationto support testing activities in an Agile environment. The candidate should be comfortable with both manual testing and basic test automationand should have working knowledge of Java and SQL.

Key Responsibilities:

Performmanual testingto validate application functionality and ensure quality deliverables.

Design and executetest cases and test scenariosbased on requirements.

Work in anAgile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium.

Identify, log, and trackdefectsthrough the defect management process.

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.

Perform basicSQL queriesto validate data in databases.

Required Skills:

Good understanding ofsoftware testing basics and QA processes.

Experience inmanual testing.Hands-on experience with Selenium for test automation.

Basic knowledge of Javafor automation scripting.

Basic SQL knowledgefor data validation.

Experience working in anAgile development environment.

Preferred:

Understanding oftest automation frameworks.

Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills.

Goodcommunication and collaboration skills.
