Job Description

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and issues for resolution.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Perform manual and automated testing of software applications.
  • Ensure compliance with established quality assurance standards and practices.
  • Generate test reports and provide detailed feedback to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product delivery.
  • Stay updated on the latest testing tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful QA should have:

  • A strong educational background in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 6-7 years of QA experience with strong expertise in both manual and automation testing
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of manual QA engineers, ensuring comprehensive test coverage
    • Hands-on experience in building and scaling automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
    • Strong scripting/programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
    • Solid knowledge of API testing & automation (Postman, RestAssured, Karate, etc.). Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
    • Familiarity with performance testing (JMeter, Locust) and cloud-based environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of testing tools and frameworks commonly used in the technology and telecoms industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with teams.
