We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong experience in mobile application testing and automation. The role involves both manual and automated testing, ensuring high-quality mobile and backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual functional testing for mobile applications
- Develop and maintain mobile automation frameworks using Appium
- Convert manual test cases into automated test scripts
- Execute tests on cloud device farms (BrowserStack / SauceLabs / LambdaTest)
- Conduct API testing and database validation using basic SQL
- Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA with proper root-cause analysis
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines
Required Skills (Mandatory)
- 4+ years of QA experience with strong automation experience (mobile preferred - Appium)
- 2+ years of experience in Selenium (Java)
- 1+ years of experience in JavaScript/TypeScript in Playwright/Cypress/Selenium or similar tools
- Experience designing reusable and scalable automation frameworks using concepts like class-based design and Page Object Model (POM)
- 1+ years API testing experience using Postman or similar tools
- Database testing (MySQL/MongoDB or similar tools)
- Tools: Git, GitHub, JIRA, Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions
- Strong debugging, defect reporting, and analytical skills
