Role Summary
Job Description – QA Automation Engineer
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong Python programming skills and
hands-on experience in test automation. The ideal candidate should be passionate about
building scalable automation frameworks, writing maintainable test scripts, and leveraging
AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
- Build and execute UI and API automation tests using Selenium and Pytest.
- Develop and maintain BDD (Behavior Driven Development) automation frameworks and test scenarios.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure high quality software releases.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test failures, troubleshoot issues, and improve test stability.
- Enhance and maintain automation frameworks for scalability and reusability.
- Leverage AIpowered tools to accelerate test development, improve code quality, and increase automation coverage.
Required Skills
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Handson experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience with BDD frameworks (Pytest BDD, Behave, or similar).
- Strong understanding of automation framework design, software testing principles, SDLC, and STLC.
- Experience using AI powered development tools (such as Cursor, Claude or ChatGPT) to improve test automation development and productivity.
- Knowledge of API automation and REST API testing.
- Experience integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable automation code.
- Good communication skills and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in QA Automation using Python and Selenium.
