About the Role:

As a QA Automation Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our AI-first platform. You'll work closely with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to build scalable test automation, validate new features, and help ship high-quality releases at speed. Responsibilities :

• Testing Execution: Conduct functional, integration, regression, security, and performance testing—both manual and automated—ensuring complete module-level coverage across traditional and AI-powered product features.
• Automation Development: Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for owned modules, continuously improving QA automation processes and leveraging AI-assisted workflows where appropriate to improve productivity and coverage.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating closely with developers to ensure timely resolution and high product quality.
• Collaborate: Partner with cross-functional teams (Architecture, Development, Product Management, Operations, and DevOps) to understand requirements, architecture, and implementation. Work closely with developers during sprints to create test cases and build both UI and API automation for new features, including AI-driven capabilities.
• Environment Management: Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot test environments, including databases and servers.
• Test Documentation: Create clear, detailed test cases and maintain comprehensive records of test results.
• Metrics & Reporting: Track and share test progress, automation coverage, and quality metrics with stakeholders, driving continuous quality improvements.

Requirements :

• 1–2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a good understanding of functional test automation.
• Hands-on experience building automated test suites using Cypress and JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and software testing processes.
• Ability to create clear, well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Familiarity with testing REST APIs and modern web applications.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and fast-paced product development environments.
• Curiosity about AI-powered products and a willingness to leverage AI tools to improve testing efficiency and engineering productivity.
