We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and automation, with the ability to design and implement effective test automation frameworks. You will work closely with development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Design and implement test automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and design test cases accordingly.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to ensure high quality of software releases.
- Identify, record, and track defects in a test management tool.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices in test automation are followed.
- Continuously improve testing processes and automation practices.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
- Proficient in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
