Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Define performance test scope, scenarios, and success metrics
- Execute baseline, load, stress, and endurance testing for APIs and services
- Validate key metrics: RPS/TPS, P50/P95/P99 latency, concurrency, and error rates
- Develop and maintain performance test scripts
- Analyze results, identify bottlenecks, and support remediation
- Produce clear performance reports and readiness sign-off
- Support go-live validation and early hyper-care monitoring
Required Experience
- Strong background in performance and load testing for APIs and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, k6, or similar
- Solid scripting skills (Python, Java, or equivalent)
- Experience working with cloud-native architectures
Preferred Experience
- Locust for distributed load and performance testing
- Playwright for UI/API automation of performance-critical flows
- Experience with GCP environments (Apigee, GKE, Cloud Spanner preferred)
- CI/CD integration for automated performance testing
