What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a passionate and highly skilled QA Test Automation Engineer to join our Quality Engineering practice. In this role, you will architect, build, and maintain enterprise-grade automated test solutions that safeguard the reliability and compliance of our client's regulated digital platforms.
You will work at the intersection of test engineering and AI-assisted automation – designing robust Selenium-based frameworks and leveraging intelligent workflow platforms (such as Marble or equivalent AI-powered case management tools) to validate critical business processes including fraud detection, KYC/AML screening, and pharmacovigilance pipelines. You will serve as a key quality gate across all stages of the CI/CD delivery model.
What You'll Do
- Automation Architecture & Development
▸ Design and build maintainable, scalable automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java or Python, following engineering best practices.
▸ Apply Page Object Model (POM), BDD/Cucumber, and Data-Driven testing patterns to ensure clean, reusable code across test suites.
▸ Develop comprehensive regression, functional, and end-to-end test suites for the client's web and enterprise platforms.
- AI-Powered & Workflow Platform Testing
▸ Leverage platforms such as Marble (AI-driven fraud & AML case management) or equivalent no-code/low-code workflow automation tools to build, validate, and regression-test business scenarios.
▸ Design test cases for KYC/AML screening, fraud detection, case investigation, and related regulated workflows ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
▸ Validate AI model outputs, decision rules, and workflow triggers for correctness, auditability, and regulatory traceability.
▸ Author and execute API automation tests using REST Assured, Postman, or equivalent – covering positive, negative, boundary, and security scenarios.
▸ Perform database validation and backend data integrity checks using SQL.
- CI/CD & DevOps Integration
▸ Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps), enabling shift-left quality.
▸ Monitor pipeline health, triage flaky tests, and drive continuous improvement of test execution speed and reliability.
▸ Participate in trunk-based development and feature-flagged release strategies.
- Defect Management & Collaboration
▸ Report, prioritize, and track defects in JIRA; collaborate closely with developers and product owners for rapid resolution.
▸ Conduct root cause analysis for escaped defects and implement preventative automation strategies.
▸ Participate actively in sprint ceremonies, backlog grooming, and 3-amigo sessions.
- Documentation & Quality Governance
▸ Maintain comprehensive test plans, test strategies, traceability matrices, and automation runbooks.
▸ Produce clear, actionable test reports and quality dashboards for client stakeholders.
▸ Champion testing standards and best practices across the engineering team.
What You'll Need
- 4 – 8 years of hands-on software quality assurance experience, with a strong focus on test automation in enterprise or regulated environments.
- Demonstrated track record of building and owning automation frameworks from the ground up.
- Core Technical Skills:

Automation Tools: Selenium WebDriver:
– Expert-level proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for web UI automation.
– Experience with Selenium Grid / cloud execution (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or similar).
▸ Programming Languages
– Strong scripting proficiency in Java (preferred) and/or Python.
– Understanding of OOP, design patterns, and clean code principles.
▸ Testing Frameworks
– Proven experience with BDD/Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest.
– Experience with POM, fluent interface patterns, and data-driven approaches.
▸ API & Integration Testing
– Hands-on experience with REST Assured, Postman, or similar API testing tools.
– Understanding of RESTful services, JSON, XML, OAuth 2.0.
▸Databases & Data Validation
– Ability to write SQL queries for backend and data integrity validation.
▸ CI/CD, DevOps & Tooling
– Experience integrating tests in Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
– Version control with Git; branching strategies (GitFlow or trunk-based).
– Defect tracking and test management in JIRA/Xray or equivalent.

Intelligent Automation: AI/Workflow Platform:
– Familiarity with AI-powered case management or no-code workflow automation platforms (Marble, Appian, Pega, ServiceNow, or similar) OR demonstrable ability to rapidly learn such platforms.
– Understanding of how to validate automated rule engines, decision trees, and AI-driven classification outputs.

- Prior experience working in a consulting or staff augmentation model, interfacing directly with enterprise client teams.
- Background in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or healthcare industry, particularly in GxP-validated or regulated environments.
- Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ICH guidelines, or similar regulatory frameworks applicable to pharma technology.
- Hands-on experience with mobile application testing using Appium.
- Exposure to cloud-based testing infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Performance and load testing experience using JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
- ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Level certification.
- Experience with test management tools such as Xray, Zephyr, or qTest.
- Working knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) for test environment management.
