What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Build reliable UI automation with robust locator strategies, auto-waits, assertions, and reusable framework components.
• Develop and execute API automation using RestAssured (Java) and/or Playwright API.
• Validate end-to-end workflows across UI and APIs.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Generate and maintain test execution reports using Allure, Playwright HTML Reports, or Extent Reports.
• Analyze automation failures, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with developers and DevOps teams.
• Manage test data, environments, and automation documentation.
• Mentor team members through code reviews and automation best practices.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation

Proficiency in TypeScript/ Java script

Experience with Appium for mobile automation

Strong understanding of automation framework design:

• Page Object Model (POM)
• Fixtures-based frameworks
• Data-driven testing
• Reusable utilities and common components

API Automation:

• RestAssured (Java)
• Playwright API Testing
• Postman

CI/CD:

• Jenkins
• GitHub Actions
• Azure DevOps

Version Control:

• Git
• Pull Requests
• Code Reviews

Good to Have

• Selenium WebDriver with Java
• Docker / Selenium Grid
• SQL for backend validation
• Jira, Zephyr, Xray, or TestRail
• Experience in Healthcare or FinTech domains with PII/PHI awareness
