About Position:
We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Robot Framework, Python, API Testing, and Database Testing to drive quality assurance initiatives across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AI-powered testing tools, test automation frameworks, and client-facing engagements. This role requires a blend of automation, manual testing, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Experience in the Healthcare/Life Sciences domain and LIMS applications is a plus.

What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework and Python to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and database testing across enterprise applications.
- Leverage AI-driven testing tools and Claude AI to improve test automation efficiency, coverage, and productivity.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and client stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze results, and track defects using JIRA and Confluence.
- Validate application workflows, APIs, and backend databases to ensure end-to-end system reliability.
- Participate in client discussions, requirement reviews, sprint ceremonies, and release validation activities.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices within Agile development environments.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying automation opportunities and optimizing existing test frameworks.
- Contribute to testing activities for applications within Healthcare, Life Sciences, and LIMS environments (preferred).
Expertise You'll Bring:
- We are looking for a quality-focused automation professional with strong hands-on experience in test automation, API and database testing, and modern AI-assisted testing practices.
- The ideal candidate should be capable of independently driving testing activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Strong hands-on experience in Robot Framework and Python-based test automation.
- Experience with API Testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar technologies.
- Solid understanding of Database Testing and SQL queries.
- Experience using AI-powered testing tools and leveraging Claude AI or similar GenAI tools for test automation and productivity improvements.
- Strong knowledge of Manual Testing, including test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management.
- Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Ability to develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks and reusable testing assets.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong client-facing experience with effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with global cross-functional teams.
- Experience in Healthcare, Life Sciences, or regulated environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) is an added advantage.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
