QA Automation Engineer @ Investment Banking

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our investment banking team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our financial applications through automated testing. You will work closely with developers and product managers to create and execute automated test scripts, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and design test cases accordingly.
• Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Identify, record, and track defects in a test management tool.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving test automation frameworks and processes.
• Continuously improve test automation processes and tools, and mentor junior team members.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in QA automation testing, preferably in the investment banking domain.
• Strong proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or TestComplete.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python for test script development.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Ability to analyze requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
