Role Overview
Execute and scale test automation across UI, API, and end-to-end workflows. Own test quality, enforce stability in releases, and ensure every deployment meets defined quality benchmarks.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement E2E test suites using Playwright or Cypress for critical user journeys
- Collaborate with developers to improve unit and integration test coverage (Jest/Vitest)
- Build and maintain automated regression test suites for existing and new features
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to ensure clean, reliable builds for every PR
- Identify high-risk areas and prioritize automation based on impact
- Maintain structured test plans and technical documentation
- Debug issues using browser dev tools, logs, and network tracing
Technical Requirements
- Strong foundation in JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Puppeteer (projects/internships acceptable)
- Unit testing using Jest, Vitest, or Mocha
- API testing using Postman, Supertest, or similar tools
- Familiarity with Git (GitHub/GitLab) and CI/CD workflows
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
