QA Automation Engineer _ Contract to Hire _ Hyderabad

Description

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer for a contract-to-hire position in Hyderabad, India. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience in automation testing and will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts to ensure software quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Execute automated tests and report results to the QA team and stakeholders.
• Identify, record, and track bugs and issues through to resolution.
• Conduct thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved or new features are added.
• Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback on testability and quality.
• Continuously improve testing processes and strategies to enhance efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in QA automation testing.
• Proficient in automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
