Your Key Responsibilities


  • As a QA Automation Engineer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright) to ensure the high quality, security, and performance of financial applications with strong understanding of banking domains, transactions processing and regulatory compliance.
  • Script Creation & Execution: Writing and running automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • API & Backend Testing: Validating backend systems, APIs (SOAP/REST), and database integrity.
  • Test Strategy & Planning: Creating comprehensive test plans and defining automation strategies.
  • CI/CD Integration: Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo).

Your Skills And Experience


  • Experience: 10+ years in QA with 5+ years specifically in BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) domain.
  • Education: BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Languages: Typescript / JavaScript.
  • Automation Tools: Playwright, Selenium WebDriver or Cypress.
  • API/Database Testing: REST Assured, Postman, SQL, SOAP.
  • Frameworks/Methodologies: Agile/Scrum, Behaviour Driven Development (BDD).
  • Modern SDLC tools: Git, JIRA, Artifactory, Jenkins/TeamCity.
  • Security testing: For vulnerabilities, including penetration testing and SQL injection, to protect sensitive data.
  • Performance testing: Evaluating system behaviour under high load, such as month-end closing or high-volume processing.
