Job Overview:
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in test automation, API testing, and performance testing, and will work closely with developers to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with developers to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
- Validate interactions between services, databases, and external systems
- Perform exploratory, regression, and integration testing
- Participate in TDD discussions and ensure adequate test coverage
- Document defects, manage the defect lifecycle, and track resolution
- Design and execute performance and load tests using JMeter
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated test suites for APIs and services
- Conduct load, stress, and scalability testing in cloud environments
- Simulate high-traffic scenarios and monitor system behavior under stress
Preferred Skills:
- Strong experience in API automation testing
- Hands-on experience with JMeter for performance testing
- Understanding of automation frameworks and testing best practices
- Familiarity with CI/CD environments and cloud-based systems
