About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated QA Engineer with expertise in both manual and automation testing to join our growing team. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality through systematic manual testing and by developing automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing. The role requires a strong understanding of QA processes and tools, collaboration with development teams, and a proactive approach to identifying issues early in the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse business requirements, functional and technical specifications to design test strategies.

Develop and execute manual test cases for new features and regression testing.

Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.

Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar. Contribute to building and maintaining the test automation framework.

Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.

Track and report defects using JIRA, Bugzilla, or other bug-tracking tools. Perform cross-browser and mobile compatibility testing.

Execute smoke, regression, integration, and performance testing as needed. Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives).

Required Skills & Experience:

3–5 years of experience in software QA, with exposure to both manual and automation testing.

Proficiency with one or more automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, Jest, etc.

Hands-on experience in writing scripts in Java, Python, or JavaScript. Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.

Experience in testing RESTful APIs and backend systems. Experience with SQL and querying relational databases.

Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
