Job Description

  • Ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through automated and API testing.
  • Build and maintain robust automation solutions that support fast and efficient delivery cycles.
  • Work closely with development and product teams to embed quality throughout the software lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and backend applications.
  • Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
  • Perform API testing to validate functionality, performance, and reliability of services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing scope, priorities, and risks.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, working with development teams for resolution and validation.
  • Monitor test results and continuously improve test processes and coverage.
  • Participate actively in agile development activities, contributing to test strategy and planning.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience in automation testing using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
  • Practical experience in API testing using tools and techniques for REST-based services.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
