About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with strong automation and manual testing skills to join our growing QA team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Playwright or similar automation frameworks, REST API testing, and will be responsible for ensuring high-quality releases through robust test planning, execution, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright or equivalent frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Puppeteer).

Perform manual testing for new features, bug fixes, and regression cycles.

Conduct REST API testing using tools such as Postman, Newman, or similar.

Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test reports to ensure complete coverage.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to identify and resolve defects early.

Participate in code reviews, contribute to QA strategy, and promote best testing practices.

Support CI/CD integration of automated tests and continuous improvement of test pipelines.

Ensure test documentation is up to date and aligned with project requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in software testing (automation and manual).

Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, or similar automation tools (Cypress, Selenium, Puppeteer).

Proficiency in REST API testing (Postman, etc.).

Solid understanding of test design techniques, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).

Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

Familiarity on AWS infrastructure

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Skills

Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).

Knowledge of scripting languages like C# , Java ,JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.

Exposure to containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
