We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of testing frameworks and quality assurance strategies across multiple projects. The QA Architect will play a key role in establishing best practices, mentoring QA teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products that meet customer expectations and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and efficient test automation frameworks.
- Define overall testing strategies, including functional, non-functional ( performance, security, etc.), and regression testing.
- Collaborate with software architects, developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to integrate quality into every phase of the SDLC.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and methodologies for test automation and QA processes.
- Establish quality metrics and KPIs to monitor and improve testing effectiveness and efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying gaps in current processes and implementing enhancements.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices for test automation scripts.
- Guide and mentor QA engineers and testers across teams.
- Lead the evaluation of new technologies and ensure they are fit for purpose.
- Create and maintain documentation related to QA processes, tools, and architecture.
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and performance standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3–4 years in a QA Architect or senior QA leadership role.
- Deep knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.) and experience with test automation tools.
- Experience with performance testing tools, CI/CD integration, and version control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
