Are you a hands-on QA Leader who can challenge architecture choices, push for better testability, and lead the shift toward AI-enabled Quality Engineering We are looking for a QA Architect to lead technical automation frameworks, transform testing workflows, and mentor engineering talent.

What You Will Own

AI-Enabled QA Transformation

• Translate recurring QA tasks into repeatable workflows supported by AI agents, prompt templates, and skill files.
• Drive AI-supported execution across test-case generation, failure triage, locator repair, smart regression selection, and test data preparation.
• Define governance models specifying what humans own, what agents draft, and what requires release sign-off.

Technical QA Architecture & Execution

• Design, govern, and scale automation frameworks across UI, API, Database (SQL), and integration testing.
• Provide hands-on leadership using Python, Pytest, Playwright, Selenium, SQL, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Review framework health, coding standards, test data strategy, and execution maintainability.
• Challenge weak engineering practices early to mitigate downstream release risk.

Operating Model & QA Governance

• Standardize QA processes, defect workflows, test governance, and release-readiness reporting across enterprise programs.
• Define and track core quality metrics: requirement coverage, defect triage speed, escaped defects, and ship-readiness.
• Create reusable playbooks and missing governance artifacts (release notes, test summaries, readiness dashboards).

Talent Leadership & Upskilling

• Build a practical upskilling roadmap for a team of 30 QA professionals over 2 years.
• Coach engineers on automation design, tool discipline, client communication, and release ownership.
• Develop a strong second line of QA Leads to drive day-to-day execution.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary QA counterpart to client architects, tech directors, and central QA CoEs.
• Surface risks early with actionable impact analyses and recommended mitigations.
• Drive release safety and confidence through evidence-based metrics and execution follow-through.

What We Are Looking For

• 10–16+ years of hands-on experience in SDET, QA Automation, or Quality Engineering roles.
• Deep technical expertise in Python, Pytest, Playwright, Selenium, and SQL.
• Strong background in API testing (Rest Assured / Python API frameworks) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with QA management tools like Jira, Xray, Zephyr, TestRail, or Allure.
• Proven track record of designing, scaling, or refactoring automation frameworks for enterprise systems.
• Ability to write and review code while actively managing distributed teams of 15–30 QA professionals.

Strong Positives

• Prior domain experience in BFSI, Banking, Capital Markets, Payments, or Regulated Enterprises.
• Direct exposure to AI-assisted testing, LLM workflows, RAG validation, prompt engineering, or self-healing automation.
• Proven track record of transitioning manual QA teams into high-performing SDET/Automation engineers.
