QA Automation Architect [Sr Consultant-M3]

Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable automation frameworks. This role requires expertise in building frameworks from scratch, mentoring teams, and ensuring seamless integration across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader with deep knowledge of automation best practices, software development lifecycles, and continuous testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a technical roadmap for test automation, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Design and implement automation frameworks using Selenium and Functionize to support enterprise-wide testing.
• Lead automation initiatives across teams, ensuring best practices for maintainability, scalability, and reusability.
• Mentor and manage a team of automation testers to build and maintain a comprehensive regression suite.
• Act as a technical advisor to senior management, providing expertise on automation strategies and emerging technologies.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure automation success and efficiency.
• Establish automation communities of practice, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring testing is an integral part of deployment processes.
• Evaluate and implement new automation tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure strong collaboration with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to align automation strategies.
• Required Skills & Experience:
• 10+ years of experience in automation testing, with a focus on framework design and leadership.
• Proven track record of building automation frameworks from scratch and driving adoption across organizations.
• Expertise in designing modular, scalable, and maintainable automation solutions.
• Experience in regression testing and ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Deep understanding of SDLC processes and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD integration, source control, and rapid prototyping.
• Strong technical expertise in cloud-based automation, AWS infrastructure, and IT orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with network provisioning, load balancers, and firewall administration.
• Experience with API testing, including integration and third-party API exploration.
• Expertise in Functionize automation tool is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive automation strategies at scale.
