We are expanding our engineering team and seeking a QA & Test Engineer who will take ownership of overall product quality and ensure release readiness.

Role Overview:

As a QA & Test Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting end-to-end testing across the platform, documenting user stories with clear acceptance criteria, and ensuring that all features meet production-level quality standards. You will work closely with the development, product, and AI teams to streamline quality workflows and support a smooth transition from development to production.

This role requires strong attention to detail, structured documentation, and a proactive approach to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Perform end-to-end testing across all platform modules
• Conduct functional, regression, exploratory, and cross-browser testing
• Validate core features such as bot creation, knowledge base workflows, chat interface behavior, analytics dashboards, workflow builder interactions, and user access flows
• Test integrations with third-party systems
• Execute API testing across backend endpoints
• Identify edge cases, UI/UX issues, and performance gaps
• Validate AI responses for accuracy, context relevance, and stability

User Story Documentation

• Document clear, structured user stories for all identified issues
• Write detailed acceptance criteria
• Categorize issues based on severity and impact
• Maintain a prioritized backlog supporting production readiness
• Document expected vs. actual behavior with screenshots/recordings
• Verify fixes and ensure issues are closed after resolution

Test Planning & Automation

• Create test plans, test cases, and repeatable testing workflows
• Develop automated tests using frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, pytest, Playwright, or Cypress
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Maintain test data sets for consistent testing
• Conduct basic performance and load testing as needed
• Prepare test coverage reports and identify quality gaps

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 24 years of experience in QA/testing roles
• 1+ year of experience with automated testing frameworks
• Experience testing modern web applications (SaaS preferred)

Technical Skills:

Candidates should have hands-on proficiency in manual testing (functional, regression, exploratory), along with experience in automated testing using tools such as Jest, pytest, Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium. Strong familiarity with API testing using Postman or similar tools is required. Experience with bug tracking systems like Jira, GitHub Issues, or Linear is essential, along with comfort using browser DevTools and performing cross-browser validation. Candidates should also be confident with Git-based workflows and capable of maintaining clear documentation using Markdown, Confluence, or Notion. Basic knowledge of MongoDB for data validation is preferred.

• Exposure to performance/security testing tools
