Job Summary
As a QA Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your primary responsibility will be to design and execute test plans, identify and report defects, and collaborate with the development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. You will be involved in all phases of the software development life cycle to maintain application integrity and enhance user experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI
- Familiarity with project management tools like ClickUp, Jira, or Trello
- Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Acceptance, and Re-Testing
- Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to improve test coverage
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and review meetings
- Execute manual and automated test cases
- Validate API responses, response time, error codes, XML/JSON data
- Maintain proper QA documentation and reports
- Contribute to automation and improve testing processes
Test Planning & Execution
- Understand requirements and prepare detailed test plans and test cases
- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing
- Ensure software meets quality standards before release
Automation
- Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts
- Identify areas where automation can improve efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a QA Analyst or similar role
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools
- Experience in both manual and automated testing
- Experience in testing web and mobile applications
- Knowledge of Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- ISTQB or relevant QA certifications
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience working on SaaS-based products or in the education domain will be an added advantage
