Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled QA Analyst with expertise in healthcare data standards, specifically FHIR and HL7, to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating and ensuring the quality of healthcare data integrations, APIs, and applications hosted on cloud platforms. The role involves functional, integration, and regression testing of FHIR/HL7 JSON payloads, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute functional, integration, and regression testing for FHIR/HL7 JSON data in CDR environments on GCP.
- Validate and test FHIR and HL7 standards, including JSON payloads, to ensure compliance and data integrity.
- Develop and execute SQL queries to verify healthcare database records and support test validations.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman and SoapUI to validate endpoints, workflows, and data transformations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper documentation, defect tracking, and issue resolution.
- Maintain test artifacts including test cases, test plans, and defect reports in Rally or similar test management tools.
- Participate in review sessions, sprint planning, and retrospectives within an Agile framework.
- Identify, report, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and re-testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 47 years in QA, preferably in healthcare or clinical data environments.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of FHIR and HL7 standards.
- Hands-on experience testing JSON payloads.
- Proficiency in SQL for healthcare database validation.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and SoapUI.
- Familiarity with test management tools, preferably Rally.
- Other Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented Agile environment.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in CDR (Clinical Data Repository) on GCP or similar cloud-based healthcare platforms.
- Understanding of healthcare data workflows, patient data standards, and interoperability.
