Python Terraform Cloud Engineer

Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps / Cloud Automation Engineer with strong Python programming expertise to design, automate, and optimize our cloud-based infrastructure and integration workflows.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), AWS services, and automation scripting, enabling scalable, reliable, and secure deployments

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python as the primary language.
• Design, implement, and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Automate operational processes using PowerShell and Bash scripting across different environments.
• Build and manage serverless architectures leveraging AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and Event Bridge.
• Integrate and automate third-party and internal systems through API integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance for deployment automation.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and automation issues enabling minimal/no manual interventions

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python Programming Skills (advanced scripting, automation, API development, or cloud SDKs).
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash scripting for automation tasks.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and Event Bridge.
• Solid understanding of API integrations and working with REST APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub Actions).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Desired Skills:

• AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Developer Associate).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS, or EKS).
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
