Position Overview:
We are looking for a Python Machine Learning Engineer to join our team on our innovative security surveillance system utilizing sensors, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
We are an established startup with a talented and technically diverse team based in Largo FL with a series of fantastic and well-known launch partners and solid financial backing.
The successful candidate will join a team passionately committed to improving the safety and security of sporting arenas, music halls and other public venues.
We value the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
Requirements:
Backgrounds in Machine Learning Engineering, Data Science, or Data Analysis who are passionate about AI and deep learning.
Technical Skills (Good to Have)
• Programming: Python for AI and deep learning.
• Frameworks & Libraries: PyTorch, OpenCV, ONNX.
• Computer Vision: Object Detection, Face Recognition, YOLO.
• Model Training: Experience training YOLO or other CNN open Source Projects on custom datasets is a plus.
• Temporal Data: Experience with radar, audio, or video data (nice to have).
• Cloud & Deployment: Basic understanding of AWS (e.g., EC2, S3).
• Data Handling & Automation:
o Data cleaning and exploratory data analysis (EDA).
o Automating tasks like data preprocessing, data versioning, and dataset management.
• Software Engineering Basics: Git, debugging, writing clean code.
• MLOps (Bonus): Model deployment, inference optimization, TensorRT/ONNX.
