Job Description
This is a remote position.
The Python Services Engineer will be part of the Advanced Technology team in the Digital experience Group, responsible for building web services and creating scalable data pipelines. The role requires collaboration across teams to align technology solutions with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Build web services for the team
- Provide expertise in ETL and data wrangling using data from a wide variety of sources
- Create and maintain an optimal, scalable, and automated data pipeline from inception to delivery
- Collaborate effectively with other teams across Wolters Kluwer
- Align technology solutions with business goal
Requirements
Must-Have Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent
- 5+ years experience in Python engineering
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python and open-source libraries (e.g., pandas, matplotlib, Jupyter)
- Experience with cloud-based environments (AWS)
- Experience building, optimizing, and scaling data pipelines
- Working NoSQL knowledge and experience with document databases (e.g., DynamoDB)
- Experience with message queuing, stream processing, and scalable data stores
- Experience with agile and Software Development Lifecycle tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence,Git
