Job Summary
We are seeking a
Test Engineer / Software Automation Engineer with strong experience in manual and automation testing of cloud-native, microservices-based applications. The role involves end-to-end testing of React-based front-end applications, backend services, and edge components, with a strong focus on quality, automation, and Agile delivery. Experience in HVAC systems and hardware-integrated testing environments is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business, functional, and system requirements
- Design and document test scenarios, test cases, and test plans
- Perform functional, integration, system, and end-to-end testing
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Python
- Create and enhance automation testing frameworks
- Execute tests, analyze results, and ensure quality benchmarks
- Log, track, and manage defects using bug/requirement tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and reviews
- Identify testing challenges and proactively drive resolution
- Support continuous improvement of testing processes and tools
Mandatory Skills
- End-to-end testing of cloud-native microservices-based applications
- Testing React-based front-end applications
- Experience testing edge components
- Strong proficiency in Python for test automation
- Test case design, test execution, and defect management
- Agile / Scrum testing experience
Domain Experience (Preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems
- Experience setting up and maintaining integration test labs
- Hands-on testing with HVAC hardware and equipment
- Long-term system and integration testing experience
Education
- B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
