Python QA Test Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Python and Robot Framework.
• Perform device testing including functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Design and execute automated test cases for hardware/device-based applications.
• Create and maintain reusable Robot Framework test suites, keywords, and libraries.
• Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and troubleshoot device/software issues.
• Execute test cases manually when required and automate repetitive test scenarios.
• Work closely with development, QA, and hardware teams to understand requirements and resolve defects.
• Perform API, communication/interface, and end-to-end testing where applicable.
• Maintain test reports, defect documentation, test results, and automation documentation.
• Participate in test planning, test case design, execution, and release validation.

Mandatory Skills

1. Strong Python programming experience
2. Hands-on Robot Framework experience
3. Hands-on device testing experience
4. Experience in test automation and scripting
5. Good understanding of SDLC/STLC and QA processes
6. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
