Job Title: Python Lead Developer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced Python Lead Developer with a strong background in backend development, team leadership, and software architecture. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of experience in software development with a primary focus on Python and modern web/backend frameworks. You will lead a team of developers, drive the design and development of scalable solutions, and ensure best practices are followed across the engineering lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex backend systems using Python.
Manage a team of developers; mentor junior members and conduct code reviews.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA to deliver high-quality software.
Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design decisions.
Work with DevOps and cloud engineers to ensure smooth CI/CD and deployment processes.
Monitor performance and scalability, and propose optimizations and enhancements.
Ensure high code quality and timely delivery within defined SLAs.
Technical Skills Required:
Expert in Python and frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
Proficient in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiar with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
Version control using Git.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
Exposure to frontend technologies (React/Angular) is a plus.
Agile/Scrum methodology experience.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
