Python Engineer (with Devops)

As a Python Engineer (with Devops) you will be instrumental in evolving and maintaining our build, test, and deployment infrastructure. We have highly automated pipelines for build and test. Historically, this has been running on self-hosted on-premise infrastructure. We are well underway with our move to a cloud-based build and test infrastructure and are now looking at optimizing our cloud usage and improving developer experience, as well as extending to continuous delivery to customer environments.

Our target tool set for build, test and deploy are GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, Artifactory, Terraform, Harness and Python. Standardization of build and deployment pipelines and the related tooling is a major focus area, including the use of AI across the full Software Development Lifecycle.

You will be working closely together with other development teams.

As a senior DevOps engineer with experience in build and test automation, you are excited about leveraging tooling to drive automation and have a passion for infrastructure as code.

Position requirements

We expect you to have the following:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in Python, Bash scripting along with Cloud Devops experience
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to understand and debug complex systems.
• Ability to work in an international, fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality software in a timely manner.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with tools like Jira, GitHub (or) Bitbucket, and Artifactory
• Experience with public cloud platforms, e.g. AWS, Azure.
