Python Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Python Engineer role based in Hyderabad. The Python Engineer will design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that power our cloud-based solutions. Day-to-day work includes writing clean, testable Python code, implementing object-oriented designs, integrating with databases, and optimizing application performance. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, review code, troubleshoot production issues, and improve system reliability. The engineer will also contribute to technical documentation, participate in code reviews, and help evolve our development best practices and tooling.

Qualifications

• Strong programming foundation, with proficiency in Python and solid understanding of Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Django and FastAPI with Postgres is a MUST.
• Experience in Software Development, including building, testing, and maintaining production-grade applications.
• Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration with external services.
• Practical knowledge of Databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), including schema design, queries, and performance considerations.
• Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and basic cloud concepts (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team, communicate clearly, and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest), containerization (e.g., Docker), and Linux-based environments is a plus.
