Python Developer – Backend & Infrastructure

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Python Developer to join our growing team in Indore. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in backend development using Python and Django, deploying and hosting scalable applications, and working with asynchronous task queues and real-time communication systems.

The candidate should be capable of building and maintaining production-grade applications while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and REST APIs using Python and Django.
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment workflows.
• Host and manage applications using Supervisor, Gunicorn, and Nginx on Linux servers.
• Administer Linux environments using command-line tools for server configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and manage asynchronous task queues using Celery with Redis or RabbitMQ.
• Build and maintain real-time features using WebSockets.
• Integrate third-party services such as DocuSign, PubNub, and Vonage Video into applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following development best practices.
• Debug, optimize, and improve application performance.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers for end-to-end product delivery.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python and Django framework.
• Hands-on experience with deployment using Supervisor, Gunicorn, and Nginx.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Proficiency in Linux command-line operations and server management.
• Experience with Celery and message brokers like Redis or RabbitMQ.
• Experience building real-time systems using WebSockets.
• Hands-on experience integrating third-party APIs/services including DocuSign, PubNub, and Vonage Video.
• Good understanding of relational databases, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with Git and version control workflows.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Experience working on production-grade Django applications.
• Familiarity with Docker/containerization tools is a plus.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is an advantage.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
